Habitat is now Open Source!
https://themade.org/posts/1701 Lucas Art's Habitat was a very early attempt at online community/rpg, a bit like Sierra's ImagiNation Network . Now, the Museum of Art and Digital Entertainment has managed to collect the source code for Habitat and released it on GitHub . Hopefully they'll be able to...

INNDEMO - A Newly Discovered SCI Demo
I just found an SCI demo that I never knew existed for the ImagiNation Network (INN). Unlike INN itself which used a modified version of SCI (called LSCI or Large Model SCI), this demo used the original SCI interpreter (version 1.001.097). The demo works fine both in DosBox and ScummVM. I discovered...

I noticed that too... that's awesome!
He's now even shared a SCUMM Tutorial:

edit:
Seems like it's just the table of contents and the preface.
I guess he'll publish the rest eventually.

Help with SCI Debugging
Is there a way to use the debugger to disassemble local or global procedures?
I know how to disassemble a method via disasm <object> <method>.
What about procedures?

I haven't been able to disassemble/decompile the script with the following tools: - SV - SCI Companion I'm trying to understand what's different about the mac scripts, but I'm not an expert. Perhaps a dev here could help shed more light. Idealy, the files could be converted to their PC equivalents, ...

Sierra SCI Demos for Other Platforms
Sierra made SCI version for several platforms: PC (DOS and Windows) Amiga Atari ST Macintosh PC-9801 FM-Towns However, I only know of demos for the PC. It seems reasonable that they made their demos available for other platforms as well, but I failed to find evidence for that. If someone here knows ...

That's sad to hear.clone2727 wrote:Not to mention we were not accepted this year.
Any reason for that? Do you think a supportive Googler could influence their decision next year?

Sierra Demos for Non-PC Platforms
Hi, Does anyone here know whether Sierra made game demos for platforms other than the PC? And if so, where these might be found? Thanks! P.S. The Sierra section on the demo page is missing some games that can already be found in your sourceforge pages containing the SCI and AGI demos, e.g. Codename:...

This game looks very interesting - thanks for supporting it. From the mobygames page of this game, it appears as if there is an English DOS version: http://www.mobygames.com/game/dos/mortville-manor/screenshots/gameShotId,11628/ The picture was added in 2007, so it's not your translation. Maybe a fa...
