One question: What's the license on this thing? The sources don't say.

Next time you should announce a release of a new ScummVM version until everything is finished... EDIT: Sure, it would be nice if every single one of our dozen or so ports could be built within the freeze time, but since our porters too have lives, this is not always happening. People with the neede...

I for one still have no clue what exactly you're talking about. Could you give us an example of which games you mean? Proper title and link to a review or Wikipedia article, preferably with screenshots? In either case, ScummVM is not an emulator. We instead reverse-engineer the game binaries and, in...

Yeah, nothing like this exists for the gob engine. I also don't really have the time to write an extensive breakdown (nor would I find that exciting in any way, sorry). I am of course happy to try to clear any remaining unclarities and questions you might have after you read the source. Just keep in...

Well, the CD versions use different music (CD audio tracks) and have recorded speech instead of gibberish "gob speak".

In that regard too, the Windows versions are like the DOS floppy versions, using AdLib music and gob speak.

Naw, Gobliins 2 and Goblins 3 Windows are identical to the DOS floppy versions.
raina wrote:Excuse me but AdLib and Mac, what?
Don't ask me. I only know that the Gobliiins Mac floppy version contains AdLib tracks. Whether and if so how they're played, I have no clue.

Nope. For Gobliiins, the original DOS floppy version doesn't come with any music. The CD version has CD audio track, the Mac version AdLib tracks, and the Windows ".mid" files are the same AdLib tracks as the Mac version. They are not standard Windows MIDI files.
