Freddi Fish 4 dutch demo
Last weekend I spend some time with my HES collection and extracted all demos from the CDs. On the CD "Putt-Putt in het Circus" I stumbled upon a demo from Freddi Fish 4 which was not recognized by ScummVM yet (and therefore didn't work at all) I already posted a bug on the bugtracker ( ht...

DOS games don't use DRM on Steam. They simply use DOSbox. Unfortunately, the SCUMM games are Windows ports, and other than the original CD version data from MI1SE, they don't work in ScummVM. Unless you know how to extract the necessary 'boot' files from the executables, of which I have knowledge o...

I recently fixed a similar issue in the Amiga version of Indy and the Last Crusade. There were subtle script bugs, not ScummVMs vault. It's possible this is the case here too. I fixed those by comparing the relevant scripts of a correctly working version (the steam one in this case) with the faulty,...

I used your guide to map the puzzles, it's the best walkthrough available. It would be great if you find the time to update it. You already seem to have had a few suggestions for improvements. In fact, bluntly using your guide, updating it and putting it somewhere is one of the thoughts that crosses...

I am just glad I was able to help. FWIW, the issues are caused by 2 bugs in the scripts of the Amiga version. Not really a ScummVM issue which emulates the bug perfectly. I am not sure if there was actually bug for opened. If so, it can be closed. I feel the need to document my findings and write an...

I need a little help please... I use ScummRev to extract the script blocks from the .LFL file. This works fine for the steam version of indy3. The amiga .LFL files are encrypted (with 0xFF) which is probably the reason why ScummRev5 can't handle it. What tool(s) can offer some help in this situation...

I am giving this issue a try. It may be good way to help me understand the inner workings of ScummVM. I have the Amiga version and the Steam version of Indy3. I may not be as fast as an experienced dev, but I'll get there. Currently I am trying to map the 73 puzzles to the points that should be awar...

I would set a breakpoint on the IQ value, restore a savegame before the incorrect points were assigned. Let the bug occur and determine the offending script. Decompile that script and try to find out the cause (perhaps compare it with the PC version). If I can help, please let me know. Sounds like a...
