Re: Secret of Monkey Island background music while playing?
Lost in Time also has a floppy version so it'd be the CD version that would have the digital tracks (obviously). Just mentioning since it wasn't notated with "(CD-version)" like the other games. Hmm... The Secret of Monkey Island was the first ScummVM emulated game I had to rip CD audio fo...

There is no MIDI music in the CD version of Monkey Island at all.RetroADV316 wrote: ↑Fri Sep 17, 2021 9:05 pmHowever, I think some of the MIDI-based background music coded into the game's core files would play before I ripped the audio.

KQ5CD will never have speech+text because there is no text in the game files.

Re: With every update more games stop working
Try removing and readding the game to ScummVM. I noticed a few SCI2/32 games were not found when I tried to run them on latest builds and had to readd them to the list then they played properly. Don't know if that's related.

Just use subtitles. Don't use "fuzzy logic."

Re: Myst : spaceship puzzle
My suggestion is to display some sort of OSD/subtitle text for the keyboard screen and the slider screen when a note is hit on the keyboard or selected on the slider (as in, musical notes A-F) if that's something that is possible. I'm not a fan of outright changing the solution though. There are als...

Re: How to stop random word pop-ups on some game starts?
eriktorbjorn is correct. It's the custom MT-32 LCD display messages. It only displays when using the MT-32 Emulator. There are three total messages in almost every game. Two that load at the beginning: one while the sysex is dumping, and a second after it completes. Then when you quit the game there...

Re: OpenGL Pixel perfect scaling... isn't?
The DOSBox one is slightly off as well, but not as noticeably as ScummVM's. Both are attempting to compensate by blurring the lines a little, DOSBox's method seems more convincing but both are flawed. You're just not going to get pixel-perfect scaling unless you have a resolution of 1600x1200 (on th...
