1.1.0 won't run Loom PC-Engine
Noticed how it would run perfectly under the Windows version, so I thought I'd see if I could play it under this platform as well. Instead it has the rare distinction of outright crashing the app, displaying a lot of code errors that I can't recall right now, but in short - it's obvious it won't run...

Why does the "skip cutscene" function barely ever
work? (Silly forum software cutting me off at the end!) Recently tried the iPhone port for the first time after adopting a barely used iPod Touch 2G out of luck. Now I must say I'm having trouble getting specific commands to work a lot of the time, even after consulting the instructions on the wiki....

N64 port - where to find "genromfs"?
The readme file for this new port suggests using the tool known as "genromfs" to generate a romdisk file - but it doesn't include it in the package, nor does it suggest where to find a copy. Seems this is a very Linux-centric tool - checking romfs.sourceforge.net reveals no Windows binarie...

How to compile the DC port under Windows?
Well so far I'm having no luck with compiling the NDS version, so I'm just going to try other platforms until I hit gold. :-\
Now the only problem is the wiki page for DC compiling is - as I feared - wholly aimed at Linuxites and not Windowers. I'm rather screwed aren't I?

I see. Well, even installing all the individual devkitPro components manually (and setting the environment types manually) doesn't make a difference. To agentq, or indeed anybody else: are you able to decipher the above log and let me know just what it is I'm missing or doing wrong? devKitPro instal...

Well even though the wiki page now has instructions, I'm still struggling to get anything working right. I'm using DevKitPro's automated downloader/installer program for Windows and it installs what appears to be the latest DevKitARM, though the wiki seems to state that I need to use an older versio...

I guess we'd need somebody with the game. I have no reason to buy it off Steam . I already have the DOS CD, although I'm hoping to pick up the TG16 release soon. Not even at its current asking price of £1.49 (or £1.74 for the complete LucasArts Adventure Collection )? (And I also have the original ...

DOS games don't use DRM on Steam. They simply use DOSbox. Unfortunately, the SCUMM games are Windows ports, and other than the original CD version data from MI1SE, they don't work in ScummVM. Unless you know how to extract the necessary 'boot' files from the executables, of which I have knowledge of.

Don't forget that GOG.com has a holiday sale going on as well. May be a better alternative to those real anti-DRMers.
