I was so negative about the game that I stopped playing in the middle of it. Now, after a month I finished it, hoping that after seeing it all I will appreciate it. Unforunately I still think, it's decent, but it's far from beeing great adventure. And the ending... [spoiler] it's the worst clichée y...

I think your best bet would be, as Tim20 wrote, Under a Killing Moon, Pandora Directive and Overseer. It's fun because you don't have to read/hear the same thing twice. You select dialog branch by some key phrase or a metaphore and then you hear what Tex has to say. I think it's great idea, because ...

I have to say I'm dissapointed with this title. The community kept my expectations high, and the reality was ... dissapointing. As KuroShiro wrote - the main character's voice is terrible - not in a sense of voice acting, which is pretty decent. The developers chose purposedly (I suppose) to introdu...

Does it process each component of the scene individually or is it applied on fully rendered scene?

32 colors is not enough. If amiga would have been capable of displaying 256 colors, I bet they would have done so. Why 256? They could still use 32-color dithering, which would look much better than using only 16 colors. I suppose they didn't want to put effort into testing and finetuning such impr...

Actually, I don't care what Sierra wanted me to see. I care for what looks nice to ME. Undithering is nice for large, textureless areas of same color, but fails for small details or gradients (color changes are too sharp). That's why I prefer original version. Undithering would be great here and the...

It's like when your boss steals a look at your unfinished project and starts making coments on problems that you are already fully aware of. Rather then being helpful, it feels more irritating than anything else. Great analogy. Anyone feeling urge to post about SCI engine should read this post befo...

No wonder, as the program was written to support music files, and for speech different encoding have been used, as MD5 mentioned in 2. post.

It is not just the hairstyle. It's not only for the hairstyle, it's just the thing that is most annoying for me. I said, that i dislike "the new Guybrush AND his hairstyle". In MI:SE he looks like a real pirate, not a pirate wannabe :) But telling the truth - it's much better than nothing...

Thanks for the reply, I have looked at the info provided, but as far as the source is concerned, I really have no clue. I have no programming aptitude and I wouldn't understand what I'm looking at, even though the code is right in front of my face. So I tried the info provided with goldwave, and go...

Well, support by ScummVM would make sense, as I said. The problem is that in the SE the speech cannot be combined with the old graphics which will be prefered by many people since the characters are in an ugly comic style in the SE. I suppose it would be possible to extract speech from special edit...
