Re: Digging into the Grim Fandango Remastered files...

I'm already far beyond that, Mr Calavera :)

I'm now looking to understand the file format of the new textures.

Re: PC original vs PS4/PC remastered?

I played GF many times when it came out, but never got through it all. I've been waiting for proper ResidualVM support before playing through it all. What would represent the best way to play it now? The PS4 version really looks good, and the revamped controls sound good to me as I never liked the ...

Digging into the Grim Fandango Remastered files...

I thought I'd try and dig a little deeper into the Remastered edition, perhaps someone out there can help? It appears we have the standard files (for the Original version), with probably a few tweaks/bug fixes: CREDITS.LAB -- IDENTICAL DATA000.LAB -- Slightly tweaked -- bug fixes? DATA001.LAB -- Sli...

Re: Thoughts on Grim Fandango Remastered?

I'm loving GF Remastered, too. I think part of the reason they didn't change the models was budgetary but also aesthetics: With higher resolution the differences between the animated versions is already incredibly apparent. I can see why they'd worry that the clashes would be even bigger if the mode...

Re: Joystick support / camera relative

He rotates as he's moving backwards or forwards? As I said above, mine will not move forward/back until the character has rotated into place first, it's like a two step process. I should also say, tested on official XBOX360 wireless controller. It was unclear in your original post that this is what...

Re: ResidualVM 0.2.0 - "Deliverance" released

Question: Why is 0.1.1 still the recommended Windows release, and not 0.2.0 on the Downloads page?

Re: Double Fine is making Grim Fandango Remastered!

Well: http://www.gog.com/game/grim_fandango_remastered I have to say I am disappointed. It looks like digital-only release. No artbook, no puzzle document, no HD backgrounds, no widescreen, no boxed edition with special goodies... just redone music score and developer commentary. I'm not counting j...

Re: Double Fine is making Grim Fandango Remastered!

I usually wait until a sale when ordering digital games, but I made an exception here and pre-ordered it as soon as I found out that pre-orders were available. For me personally, the musical score performed live by the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra is worth the price of admission alone. It sounds am...

Re: Road To El Dorado reversing video

I also watched the first 20 mins. Very interesting stuff. I really like that you took the time to mention the keyboard commands you used, as it helps people like me who are new to IDA.

Also, it'd be great if we got IN COLD BLOOD, too. That was an underrated game!

Re: Indiana Jones and the Infernal Machine

I think it's unlikely it will be added, Delirious17, as it doesn't use the same engine as the existing supported titles. Still, it'd be great if it did.
