this may be because of autoplay, when the cd is in the computer, right-click in the drive and select "open" instead of "autoplay"

I Think you see that right ;)
I just wanted to report that the liked list seems tp be wrong and the games won't work with only those files.
This may be important to peaople running scummvm on a rive which has very low diskplace. ^^

edit: when i just use the files mentioned in the linked topic, the games crashes when i type in any command, so this list might incomplete.

What are the needed AGI-Games Datafiles?

Since i want to make my ScummVM Games folder als slight as possible i natrally want to delete all unnecessary files. But i couldn't find what datafiles are needed for the old AGI games, there are not istet in the wiki, neither police quest nor kings quest.
con someome list tohse?

I use too a MacBook 15" with Mac 10.5.2 and my MI3 files (compressed to Ogg Vorbis), work absolutely fine, so the most probable Reason are corrupte game files and you should reinstall them from CD.

its the same error as before, he cant find the file, so it won't encode an video.

as I see it, it is because you forgot the *.smk extension, the command has to be do encode_dxa.exe --vorbis %~ni.smk
Without the extension it won't work.
I had the same Error while my first attemps.

But since i dind't understand the macports system or fink (I failed at those several times) I used this guide:

i had the same problem. you have to type it with the extension: encode_dxa angent32.smk Or use the bat file within the tools, it saves countless clicking. if you use this one, you only have to change the Folder within it so it fis to your folder-structure, and, if you want to use MP3 istead of vorbi...
