Any thoughts on moving to GPLv3?

You've recently released a new version and it was still under GPLv2. Just wondered why. You know, seeing the makers of GPL spent more than a decade and a half on this upgrade (that came out months ago), and it was supposed to make the software world better and all.

I don't think ScummVM has a reason not to be legal. It's its usage that could be illegal. Just like the phone company is legal, but certain people may use their phones to threaten to kill other people or plan a bank robbery, etc. As for the DMCA, it seems most abandonware sites are American, at leas...

It's now ok to preserve abandonware...for librarians

But there's no link to such a moderator...that's why I tried "Ender" - the lead moderator, but he/she doesn't read their PMs.

e-mail it to scummvm-devel.
At scummvm.org?
What about that dictatorial rule? Plus it contradicts the whole "PM us if your post is denied" message...

Why can't I post here?

Yes, I know it's a paradox because you're reading this...but I'm talking about a certain post. Maybe it's certain words I use or something. I'm trying to post a really important info and it says it's spam. I've PMed the head admin "Ender" but he doesn't read my PM. Can any other admin PM m...
