Thank you for the informatin! Just one more thing: the links don't mention anything about what happens in the end of the game. As I said, when you finish a QfG game the stats of the character are saved, but does this happens when you finish the game in SCV?

Quest for Glory questions

I haven't played QfG since the old days and I plan giving it a run in the SVM. I would like to ask what happens when it comes to the point where you can export or import the stats of your character from one game to the other. I remember that in the original versions you saved it on a foppy or it gen...

It turns out that it's not really a VGA version. For some reason the ScummVM label is VGA/Amiga but after comparing some screenshots, it seems that the graphics are genuine Amiga. Is there a reason why the label mentions VGA? Is it a bug? An interesting note: running the Amiga version of SoMI in Scu...

So the above evidence suggests that I bumped on the CDTV version and that ScummVM supports it as VGA/Amiga/English.

PS. Not even the wiki mentions this (http://wiki.scummvm.org/index.php/Dataf ... and.2C_The)

SoMI-Amiga-VGA version???

If you allow me another encyclopedic question... :) Browsing in the source files, I found out that ScummVM supports Secret of Monkey Island (VGA/Amiga) version. I had never heard of an Amiga VGA MI version. I searched around about this version and I did not find any game database that has informatno...

Personally, if I have to choose between DOSBox and SVM I prefer the genuine full DOS experience. Since I am fluent in DOS command-line it's not a big trouble for me to install a game, move into folders and run it, although I understand there are people who would prefer the click-and-go option of SVM...

3.5" floppies sev I have another question, which is a bit OT as it involves Dosbox. I installed the CD version through Dosbox and then ran "go.bat" which brought me to a small setup screen. After pressing Enter to save the choices, I was brought back to the prompt. There isn't any oth...

Fascination editions

I loaded the (notorious and infamous) game Fascination. Other than the Amiga version and a possible CD-ROM version (about which I learned from this wiki) I don't know of other editions of this game. The ScummVM db recognized it as "VGA 3 disks edition". What does it mean? Were there other ...

Then let me consider a simpler scenario which doesn't use iMuse. Let's say I download the Zak McKracken FMTowns version soundtrack from http://s-island.mixnmojo.com/zak.php. And let's say I have the Amiga version files. Let's say that for some strange reason, I don't want to play the with the 256 co...

A couple of random questions

I am new in ScummVM (I prefer DosBox etc) and after experimenting with several games, these questions occurred to me. I am afraid the answers will be negative but here goes :) 1. I understand that SVM uses its own save game system. This means that if you begin a game in a "clean" (Dos) or ...

I want you to know that I beat Pegasus Prime, without any noteworthy bugs to report. Playing has been 99.99% smooth and without problems. Some lags here and there which didn't annoy me and I don't think the original Mac play would be better. I didn't notice the bugs Monster mentioned, and I could be...

Here is the first problem, but I dunno if it's the game or ScummVM. Right when you travel to Norad and the robot leaves, you can turn to the left or right and see a monitor. I can access the monitor on the right, but when I try to access the monitor on the left I get Could not load video 'Images/Nor...
