Re: Please help us with testing upcoming ScummVM 2.2.0 release

Where can I find the information about the data files needed to run these games? That would help a lot because I don't like just copying all the content knowing that a lot of files won't be needed to run the game. I can start testing the game Prince and the Coward and looking at all the data files f...

Alien Grey: It would have been useful to include a link to the xBRZ code and patches. I have searched and found this here: https://sourceforge.net/projects/xbrz/files/ScummVM/ScummVM_1.9.0%2BxBRZ_Sources.zip.zip/download This includes the latest xBRZ v1.5 patched into ScummVM v1.9.0. xBRZ is licens...

What do you mean by "slow scalers"? I mean, even on my 6 year old rig the scalers impose no frame rate drop, they don't even increase CPU load measurably. I don't mean that the scalers are actually slow but compared to xBRZ they are. xBRZ is faster than the HQ scalers and gives the same o...

ScummVM needs OpenGL with xBRZ support

I think that OpenGL with xBRZ support should be added to ScummVM. This would make ScummVM games look a lot nicer without the need of slow scalers. There's an unofficial ScummVM build with xBRZ support available from the xBRZ author. Perhaps someone should ask the xBRZ author to add official support ...

Nice to see this new ScummVM release. I would like to thank Dreammaster for fixing the bugs from the TsAge game Return to Ringworld so quickly.

I've got a question about the fill out the test result form. Is it important to enter the correct ScummVM version? I'm asking this because it didn't allow me to enter the correct Kirben daily build version so I cheated and entered the example number to let me go to the next page and submit my result.

I'm currently testing Return to Ringworld because game compatibility was broken after ScummVM 1.7.

I can confirm already that the Kirben daily build does fix the program isn't responding bug on my Windows 10 X64 device. :)

I don't know what went wrong the first time that made it impossible to use the scanner on The Rim. The developer couldn't reproduce this bug and neither did I the second time.

Unfortunately I didn't have a save file from before this scene to make it easier to find the problem.

Since I can't post external links yet, here's the last part of the URL of a video of someone running Myst ME in Scumm on a Dingoo A320; watch?v=8DvlFHh-gc4 Looks like it runs fine for this person. I'll try and get a message to him/her and see how they got it running. I'll post here if I get it runn...

What happened with the Dingux ScummVM port?

I don't see an official ScummVM 1.7.0 Dingux version.

Does anyone still work on this port?

I've tried one of the Daily Builds to try to run Return to Ringworld on it. It seems to run fine but there's lots of slowdowns with this game.

This is my first post on the ScummVM forum so forgive me if I post this in the wrong thread. I've played and finished Beneath a steel sky, Discworld 1 and Ringworld: Revenge of the Patriarch with ScummVM V1.7.0 "The Neverrelease". I had a lot of fun and enjoyed playing these nice games wit...
