Please can you create a bug report?

It is C++ indeed and you will need the full tools directory from the repository: http://scummvm.svn.sourceforge.net/viewvc/scummvm/tools/trunk/ There is a "Donwload GNU tarball" link at the bottom of that page, and this will download the source code you need. If you want to use the tools i...

I don't have Windows myself, therefore I cannot provide you with a fresh version or tell you how to compile one (as I wouldn't know). Sorry :(

I have just added the option to the command line tools. The syntax is a bit different compared to the lame syntax for cbr. For example to compress at a bit rate of 64 kb/s you will need to use ./scummvm-tools-cli --tool compress_scumm_bun --mp3 --cbr 64 ... (which invokes lame -b 64 ...) By the way ...

There is currently no way to encode in CBR MP3 using the ScummVM Tools. Only ABR and VBR are supported (VBR is the default). Adding CBR is on my list of things to do. I will try to add it to the command line tool tonight (it is quite trivial to do). I am not sure I will have the time to add the opti...

Gus is now part of the ScummVM Team and it is his work that has now become the official Android port. Hopefully what this means for Gus is that he will get more support from the team to make his port even better.

I believe the list only tells you the minimum set of files you need to play the game with ScummVM. So in that case it only means you don't need those files for ScummVM, not that you have to remove them (I guess it should play fine if the files are present - it will just ignore them).

Just so that you are not disapointed once you have transfered the files, I should point out that ScummVM does not support the steam release of the LucasArts adventure games. Their format is slightly different compared to the old releases (one file is hidden into another one) and we decided for now n...

No I don't mean the "cd rom software 5.1.1" file. I got the name correct in my first post: "Day of the Tentacle Data". Here is a snapshot of what my CD looks like and you can see the file clearly. http://freespace.virgin.net/thierry.crozat/DOTT_mac_cd.png If you cannot see the fi...

Since MacOS X complains about Classic not being supported my guess is that this is the old MacOS CD version. You should have a file named "Day of the Tentacle Data" on that CD and this is the only file you need to copy to your disk. I think I remember seing report that this file might be i...

I'll post a bug report tomorrow, when I'll create an account for that website. Is that the same bug as this one (that has been reported recently): http://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&aid=2995282&group_id=37116&atid=418820 ? If so there is no need to create a new bug report. But ...

Just out of curiosity; how do I know when it's fixed? I want to know this because I want to help testing it and checking if it works. Please enter a bug report following the instructions in FAQ 5.10 . You can then attach your saved game to the bug tracker item and this is where we will comment if w...

Another thing I just discovered: with compress_kyra at least, SVM Tools doesn't properly acknowledge variable settings when setting up the encoding bitrate. Say I wanted to manage a constant bitrate of 20kb/s when compressing an AUD file - I input "-m 20 -M 20", but the tool will set up e...
