Then do so. For crying out loud, ScummRevisited2 has been out for several years now, but nobody seems to know of its existence.

Actually, it's CD2 you should be tracking down. The problem, it seems, is in your MUSDISK2.BUN file, as that's the one the crew's missing song is stored in. Try re-copying it from your CDs, that more often than not is enough to solve such problems.

This happens because the music files cannot be read. You'll probably have to revert to an EARLIER save (somewhere in act 2 preferrably, methinks, as it's CD1 territory) and try again. The crew's scene depends on the music file to be present (as the whole song is stored in the music files, and not th...

Well, there are also the smartphones that use Windows CE or Windows Mobile - allathose are also supported by ScummVM and they all can also function as mobile phones. And a lot of those have touch screens, or so I'm told. If you really really have to use them for such a mundane purpose as making a ca...

Don't know about decent, but since you're in the Symbian subforum, I can only recommend to you the smartphones using the Symbian platform, and since you want touch-screen support, that's only Symbian UIQ. Which means a Sony Ericsson phone, as nobody else is dumb enough to use such an undernourished,...

Dal , it's not about the lack of datafiles. It's the good Doctor's personal bias against this game because of its erotic content. And something that's been discussed about seventeen times already. Or thereabouts. Incidentally, the game runs mighty fine under DosBox, so you could use that instead. U...

did i have to? i thought and still think i need those mugs to complete the third trial Actually, no. You need them only to free Otis, whom you'll only need to free when you're gonna be <spoiler removed>, and that won't happen until after <spoiler removed> and that happens only after you complete al...

0+4 does that for us. Hold 0 and press 4 - and presto. But it doesn't look nice enough for me. I'd rather stick with the blue thing.

You can use the ScummVM Tools, of course! They're all bundled with the Win32 version of ScummVM, at least, there's where I got them from. All are command-line tools, and there's even a nifty .TXT file to tell you which one does what. OGG compression seems to work best on my W950i. Experimentation sh...

Re: Transparent ZIP access?

There is a saying in Greece that says: If Muhammed doesn't go to the mountain, the mountain will go to Muhammed (we are not Muslims, so probably this is a saying coming from the East - maybe some Turk could verify). We have this saying in Russia also. But then again, the sands of time have hidden i...

Well, the music is MIDI, so it wouldn't be affected by the same problem in any case, but the fact that you DO have the voices but not sounds is kinda weird. I assume the mundane things like volume settings are all in order and were not accidentally altered without your knowledge? Also, are you using...

It's just that the GP2X has an active enough community of its own, and it would be logical to assume you'd get more info over there rather than here. Then again, I'm probably still dreaming of that perfect world where things go according to common sense.

Alright, more details. How does the crash commence? Do you get thrown out into the game selection screen of ScummVM? Or does it crash to desktop? Does it show some kind of error message? Do these games work normally on your computer's version of ScummVM (I'd assume you run Windows and so would use t...

Well, you really shouldn't play off the disk, as you don't have any real guarantee something won't hang all of a sudden simply because there's a small scratch which is important in this particular moment. Besides, it also contributes to making more scratches, especially if you, like me, don't like t...

Well, forgive me for saying that, but why the hell are you complaining about problems here then? ScummVM was made to SOLVE such problems, you know. So if you aren't using it, you really should. Honest.
