Thanks. :) But the problem still hasn't been resolved yet. :( Whenever I double click on BasiliskII.exe, it comes up with a warning saying: "The CD-ROM driver file C:\Windows\system32\drivers\cdenable.sys is missing". Not only that, but now that I've downloaded all 19 parts to MacOS System...

Re: Monkey Island Mac on PC

The second link contains *legal* free versions of Mac OS and many even contain the ROM. Gotcha. I'm not sure, and I can't find, the correct link to install Basilisk II for Windows. And where it says: "Current snapshots and prebuilt binaries for Linux, Mac OS X, and Windows are available from G...

Re: Monkey Island Mac on PC

Download this . Make sure you follow the directions in the README carefully. Aha, there it is! Thanks. :) You could use a tool such as Basilisk II combined with the freely downloadable Mac OS 7 . Those would seem like an ideal means of installing/extracting the files, but in order for them to work,...

Re: Monkey Island Mac on PC

HFVExplorer still works perfectly for the task. I guess I need to look a bit more thoroughly for it. When I checked earlier on, all the sites that claimed to have it, came up with a 'Could not be found' error. :? You should have monkey.000, monkey.001, etc. files on the floppy. However, it could be...

Monkey Island Mac on PC

Hi Could someone please help me with getting the Mac version of Monkey Island 1 to work under Windows with ScummVM? I'm at a bit of a loss. The ScummVM readme mentions downloading HFVExplorer in order to read/copy files on a Mac floppy disk under Windows, but that program appears to have been discon...

Hey, I ordered one of them yesterday. Does this mean I'll get one of the new ones?

*bump* I have a problem. I've just bought Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars for the PSP and it needs firmware 6.00. The trouble is, I can't upgrade my custom firmware, which is 3.52 M33-4. :( By upgrading though, I'm not going to be able to run ScummVM. I'll just have to leave that until a 6.00 custo...

Would it be possible for someone to create an icon for Simon the Sorcerer based on the UK box? The one that's available seems to be from the US box.

Would someone be able to put all these new icons, with the old ones, together somewhere to download? thanius' list, on the first page, is a bit outdated now and a lot of these newer icons are missing.

Looks like there's no need. I've just tried today's daily build, for Windows, and the problem seems to have disappeared. :)

No idea about the PSP build though.

Another question: I can only seem to save in one slot using both the Windows build and the PSP build. Whenever I try to save in another slot it just overwrites my first one. Is this normal? Could you only save in one slot originally?

Thanks guys, I'll give those a try. :)

The UHS guide, and some other walkthroughs I've checked, don't seem to be 100% complete. They say nothing about that.
