The FM-TOWNS versions only include English & Japanese languages, sounds like you are using French fan translations. Check the FAN TRANSLATIONS & PATCHES thread for details on how to add games.

The problem is specific to the disk version of DOTT and was fixed in ScummVM, after the release of 0.8.2. So try using a recent snapshot of ScummVM if possible.

It was not possible to enable subtitles in the English & German versions of the original Simon the Sorcerer 1 (With speech). And subtitles are left disabled under ScummVM, since the data files are missing the majority of the subtitles.

Lechuck wrote: Yeah as stated it's not correct, if you compared the Amiga(AGA) version to PC version the PC didn't look better. Plus I think you used the ECS version of MI2 on the screen, I meant the AGA version.
There was no AGA release of Monkey Island 2, the Amiga version only used 32 colors.

The cinE engine was added to ScummVM, since the project was no longer active and several developers of ScummVM wanted to merge and continue work on the cinE engine.

There are currently no plans to add the cruisE engine to ScummVM, since it is still in active development.

There are currently no plans to add printing support to ScummVM.
In the future we might convert the print output to an image file, to allow printing of output by other programs.

Why not just use the General MIDI tracks of DOTT? DOTT offers Adlib, General MIDI and Roland MT32 tracks for music.

Rename the first part of each filename to 'readDemo', so 'Blue's Reading Time.HE0' would become 'readDemo.HE0". The game expects 16bit color support, so you will notice many palette glitches under ScummVM too. Check the earlier thread for explaination of the problems supporting Bink or Smacker.

No plans to add support for the full versions of the Blue's Clues games. The video sequences in the games used the Smacker format, and the games wouldn't make sense without the video sequences. If you really want to try the full versions, you could rename the files but they have not been tested unde...

The enhanced versions of Maniac Mansion and Zak McKracken were released as part of the Selectware Classic Collection on CD. The copy protection was disabled, and replaced with CD checks as games started up. Try using CD version of Day of Tentacle, without the 'MONSTER.SOU' file, to reduce the space ...

The gamepc/gsptr30 and tbllist data files aren't listed, I expect there is an extra '.' at the end of the filenames in this case.

This is a known issue, just remove the extra '.' at the end of these filenames for now.

Also, Pendulo Studios made another adventure on 1994, with a very SCUMM-like interface (sorry, I don't know if they ever released it outside Spain), called Igor: Objetivo Uikokahonia. If someone wants to ask them for the source code of any game, I think Igor would be better for now. Check this thre...

It looks like your gamepc/gsptr30 and tbllist files are missing.

Make sure data files for each game are stored in a single directory.

One question, though--I know that in the Blue's Birthday demo, there is obviously SOME video running--is that simply a bunch of animated frames stuck together in a regular SCUMM animation of sorts? The introduction sequence of that demo is a regular animation using actors through SCUMM, and not a v...
