I can't *really* help as I don't have Windows 8, but you might consider trying a daily build, as they often have newer bugfixes included.

I bought the GOG version indeed, and did manage to extract the data. However, trying to get daily builds on android is too much for me. I'll have to wait patiently for an official release with GK1 support I suppose. It's actually surprisingly easy. First get the daily build here . Put all the .apk ...

Re: Hopkins FBI
ScummVM 1.6.0 supports Hopkins FBI. Which files exactly are needed by ScummVM in order to play that game (Windows version - Linux version)? Thx If you have the CD, you'll just need all the folders on it other than DirectX and Install. Just copying the folders as they are to a dir on your hd should ...

libfluidsynth1 needs to be installed as well. I could get it from Software Manager? If you're using Ubuntu, going to the terminal and using 'sudo apt-get install libfluidsynth1' should work. Other distros have something similar but I'm not familiar with the commands. If libfluidsynth1 isn't found, ...

To be honest it's actually easier to just add the games again than to mess with the .ini file -- just Shift+Click on the add button to do a mass add, which will add all games within the subdirectories of wherever you choose. Alternatively, the config file (in windows) is located in %APPDATA%\ScummVM...

First of all, update your tools program. Second, that is the help output for the command line compression tool, which you shouldn't have to worry about if you're using the gui, since it does most things for you. Just open the tools, click Compress, choose the file you want to compress (usually Engli...

The process is the same as adding any game to scummvm. Make a directory for the game on your device, copy the required data files for that game to the directory, add the game, and play. If it still doesn't work, make sure the engine you're trying to add the game for is enabled by clicking the About ...
