I think the first remastered Broken Sword, The Director's Cut, was released on the Nintendo Wii and DS first and didn't reach other platforms for almost a year.

I wasn't too sure but after checking I believe this is a supported game.
Best thing to do is file a bug report. The link to it is amongst the many links along the right hand side on the main page.

I would think your best route would be what criezy said about Sheepshaver. Might take a while setting up though. I've grabbed the free OS 7.5 myself in the past from Apple's site but I don't know if they still have it.
