When i posted, "1.9.0", i was referring to the ScummVM game versions, not the actual ScuumVM version number. I just re-downloaded The Complete ScummVM 1 6 0 Collection as i am going to give it another try on my PS2 HDD. ^_^ isn't there a 1.90 collection available? or 1.80 ? Please read fo...

I actually wonder if I could finish a battle with a Necrotaur by only casting spells. I crash after swinging my sword at one... The vagueness of this statement is why this game is a PITA to test. In any other game it is very specific and "good-enough" for a bug report. But without a saveg...

I am not an SCI dev, but here's what I know: Save/restore in SCI16 games in ScummVM is currently handled very differently from how it is currently handled in SCI32 games. In SCI32 a lot more is handled by the original scripts. This (maybe) has the side effect of introducing behavior that's closer to...

It looks like it is running ScummVM too. Although no text on the store page says so. I am going off of forum posts and reviews. Missing the original game exes as well.

My understanding is:
- Lots and lots of script bugs.
- Pathfinding issues due to the differences between original Sierra pathfinding and ScummVM pathfinding.

Good thing that it is an option that can be toggled on/off for each game individually by the user :D

That way people can agree to disagree and choose whatever they prefer.

I'm curious: Where did you find it? I've been unsuccessfully looking for a copy.

I imported a QFG3 ScummVM into QFG4 dosbox. I think you had to gunzip it. This is in 2012 so I don't remember the details. Update: I just re-attempted the following and here are the results QFG3 (ScummVM)->QFG4(dosbox) worked QFG1 (ScummVM)->QFG4(dosbox) crashed QFG1 (ScummVM)->QFG2(dosbox) worked

I own both. I verified that they both contain the exact same files (that ScummVM cares about)

There's also some pretty gore scenes in Hopkins. What would you suggest? A popup when you start the game to mention it contains mature content or Something generic like that? Hard to tell. But maybe such popup (not too annoying, so only in first run after the instalation) would not be a bad idea fo...

Not to mention that an SC-55 can be had for less on eBay.
