I got a new machine and noticed that both games are still running under DOSBox. But I am still hoping for a ScummVM support one day. ;-)

I am experiencing the same problem right now. I have the computer connected to a Samsung TV with 1360x768. When I start ScummVM, the screen switched either to 1024x768 (with aspect correction being on) or 800x600 (with aspect correction switched off). But I find no way to run ScummVM in fullscreen m...

It seems that The Adventure Company is no more due to the JoWooD bankruptcy. At least, their website is down.

So it looks bad for you guys to get english dubbed versions of BoUT etc.

Let's put it this way: as long as there are so many adventures still not supported yet, I wouldn't start to integrate other games.

How is the scene of adventures outside of Germany anyway? I know that you guys are still waiting for The Book of Unwritten Tales and some other titles.

Well, I have Comic Book Lover on my iPhone which enables me to read Comics in pdf, cbz, or cbr format on the phone. I just have to upload the content to the phone via iTunes and then transfer the files to the program. Why isn't the same possible for ScummVM? Download the program via AppStore and get...

Re: Broken Sword (game) similar to North by Northwest (movie

Anyone think the Broken Sword game is highly influenced by Alfred Hitchcock's North by Northwest? The part where George Stobbart is in another persons hotel room is very similar to a scene in North by Northwest. To be honest, I never thought about N by NW when I played BS, maybe because Bull's head...

I am sorry to say that this game is in the junk can with The Abbey, both terrible examples of oversimlifed animation and terrible voice acting. Murder by bad game design. Waste of time and effort. Isn't english voice acting in foreign original language games always terrible? English speaking countr...

Re: Colonization

Ok so I am playing Colonization again after a looooong time away and I was wondering how you can move diagonally when using a mac without a mouse? It doesn't seem to be possible and is a waste of moves. Any insight is much appreciated. Regardless, timeless game, always gave this as much/more time t...

Thank you! That's great. When you're killed, at least you know instantly that you'll have to start over... :) Unlike in Sierra games, there are just a few scenes where you can die. At most of them there is a good hint that it is a dangerous situation, so the game is very fair. Actually, there was a...

The most disappointing parts are the missing intro and easy mode. And the German translation is terrible, but it can easily be avoided by deactivation.
