Did a quick run through of the intro video and the first scene using English and German copies of the game (I have both). Some odd transparency issues were present in the original release [Fenimore's shadow over coloured ground and the F5 screen] but I downloaded the daily build again just now and t...

There was a release of the 2nd game in the series that included a free copy of the this but I'm not sure if it wasn't only for German/French editions.

Thanks for the recording. Personally speaking I didn't find Rob very personable (almost annoying even) but then 3 way conversations aren't normally the best medium.

Yes from what I've read it does. Hopefully that will not be an issue for the ScummVM project.

Great news to add yet another title! I own the CD from years back but do not have a lot of time at the moment but will play test for the next release.

but they do say that the game they intend to make won't be browser-based. These browser things are just "rewards" for each time $100,000 mark is passed. Yes, I've seen that. I just don't get the statements in the prototype release notes referring to improvements as time goes on. Quite fra...

It was a very strange decision to provide a demo using that as a technology when in reality they were not definitely going to use it in the final version. Or were they but saw negative reaction so distanced themselves from it? Sad but at this point I don't even wish them any sort of luck (good or ba...

Doublefine were first and Tim/Ron have maintained a presence in gaming unlike the two guys since their "golden" days at Sierra. I didn't like the pitch and so didn't and still don't feel any inclination to pledge. Odd that even though I didn't back Pinkerton Road at the outset (it was a co...

I cannot argue with what I now read but I reckon the "DVD with concept art" is an updated statement on their reward chart. Sadly the new tier is not a deal.. I could have pledged $100 + $15 to get a digital download. What makes anyone think this product is worth at least $15 more than Doub...

Not sure about this one - a physical box is $100 but you do not get any digital elements... no PDF of concept art. How odd! I'd love to back each and every but my bank balance is noticing it... and the shelves are still bare!

Tex is a sure fire project for me to support :)
