If you're looking for a (free) alternative, you could always give wine a shot. I personally haven't tested Grim Fandango using wine, but according to the AppDB , it'll install and run. This doesn't necessarily mean it'll run as smoothly or consistently as it would under VMWare/Parallels/VirtualBox/q...

Don't mean to bump an old topic, but I've got a question. I know that this was a GSoC project and that jvprat has done some work on freesci integration in the past, but neither project was completed (I'm guessing). I'm just curious if someone picked this back up, would this be accepted by the ScummV...

If mo-cap games kind of count towards the 3d genre, then i'd throw Phantasmagoria and Gabriel Knight 2 into the mix.
