Just making sure the project doesn't bitrot and still compiles against master.

Fuzzie's comment about a "crazy rebase" implies there may have been a better way for me to do it :P

Sorry folks. Been focused on external contracts lately, so no major time blocks for scummvm :( And other developers? I think that several people worked on this engine. Nobody is interested to continue? I can only offer my two cents as to why progress has stopped; I cannot speak for anyone else as I...

Thank you, Maximus. I'll reach out to sev about the bounty. :) I do appreciate the work you continue to put into this project, thanks again! Just to clarify, I'm not suggesting a bounty on this engine would expedite development, just that I know the subject has been raised before, and contacting se...

Thank you for the updates. :) While I have no reverse engineering, or developmental skills, I do have money. :) Will that help at all in completion of the Asylum engine? If so, send a link and I'll certainly pitch in! For me at least, the incentive to work on this project isn't a monetary one; What...

So I guess we just have to be patient - good things come to those who wait :) Bingo :P Sorry folks. Been focused on external contracts lately, so no major time blocks for scummvm :( As with any open source project/initiative though, the code is there if anyone's feeling ambitious. I'd love to see t...

I can at least confirm that the DOS/CD version doesn't suffer from this issue:

I don't have the AGA version to test though, so it's likely a version-specific issue.

This posts wasn't very helpful. :x Your question wasn't either. I've seen so many open source projects - things take their time, just wait. Take a look here to see the current progress: https://github.com/alexbevi/scummvm/commits/asylum Judging from current commits I'd suppose the game will be supp...

This may not be the right place to post, but there's an interview with David Grey over at AdventureClassicGaming that mentions the integration with ScummVM ;)

I would think your best route would be what criezy said about Sheepshaver. Might take a while setting up though. I've grabbed the free OS 7.5 myself in the past from Apple's site but I don't know if they still have it. Good luck. http://download.info.apple.com/Apple_Support_Area/Apple_Software_Upda...

... So, to sum up, as long as AGS is under the Artistic License, I don't perceive a great chance for much collaboration. Our world views and goals are too different. That said, maybe it would indeed make sense for us to work on AGS 2.x support, but then as far as I know, that version of AGS has not...

Just to clarify, my comparison with SCI seems to have been misunderstood (which is likely my fault for not providing enough information). All I meant is that there are variations of the interpreter, and for each major variation, there are minor variations as well. If AGS were implemented, there are ...
