I've only ever got Discworld 2 to work by stripping the other engines out of the build to save memory. I'll update my Discworld only build next week some time - with a bit of luck Discworld 2 will have speeded up also.

You just need to copy the kyra.dat from the PSP download into the folder that contains all your game files. I was having this problem the other day with 1.1SVN. If you are using a daily build, you might want to try the last official release instead. It will be a different kyra.dat for each version s...

If you find bugs and they are present in the official version you should always file a bug report. As I rule I only break things rather than fixing them. My build was getting pretty old so I've added a 1.1 build incorporating bluddy's patch. I've not got much time so its even more untested than usua...

There used to be a legend for the GM, but it was removed along the way. It meant "the score was composed on a GM synth" according to Wikipedia. Thanks for the info. Maybe I'm blind but I can't find any reference on wikipedia, that the HoF soundtrack was composed on/for a General MIDI synt...

Thanks Jinx. I wouldn't say I've done that much new for PSP in a long while but I did get the Lands of Lore soundtrack finished a few weeks back. I don't know how easy LOL is going to be to play on a PSP as its a game that benefits a lot from a mouse. I added some clunky movement controls which help...

Was just about to say the same thing. It's the standard build apart from a bit of messing around with the music code. I've not done anything to make it work. I got the same problem with the cutscene when you try to go back to the throne room. I thought I might be able to get around it for now by cop...

Great to see some of these games being rereleased at last. I expect they will just use Dosbox rather than rewrite any code in which case the games should work with scummVM. Not long to wait to find out anyway. They talk about reviving classic franchises in that pdf. Maybe we can expect Telltale to d...

I've done my own build and Lands of Lore looks to be working pretty well in the latest SVN. I've only played the early stages of the game so I can't guarantee it won't fall apart later but I've not had any problems yet. It's on my website for anyone who wants to give it a go.

LOL is now running on PSP in the latest build if anyone wants to try it. I'll have a go at a music patch for this fairly soon - still not decided if I should use MT-32 or general MIDI yet.

There isn't any chance of my code making it into official builds for various reasons, the main one being legal issues over distributing the soundtracks. At least this way it means I don't have to take it too seriously. If it was going into the official builds I'd have to do the job properly and it w...

Yes, you need the 14.0 build.

I tried compiling SCI but it wouldn't even start up which was no great surprise. It's coming along but I expect it will be months before its playable on DS. It already runs some games on PSP but is still extremely slow at times.

Any chance for Simon 2?!!!! For the moment i have only found the soundtrack in ogg format for PSP build of Scummvm only here: http://pix.www.idnet.com/ There is a DS version up with the PSP one now on the same site. It seems to work fairly well but the sound sticks a bit during the intro and the vo...

We are talking about two different engines here. I'll reserve judgement on how well KQ5 or any other SCI1 game will ever work until I've had a better go at it but as far as I know SCI0's audio is far simpler and the only problem I've had to contend with so far is tracks which don't loop right back t...

I've found it now. I'd just looked in the scummvm project build options for anything likely which is where game support is usually turned on or off. Its actually in the kyra engine options instead which makes sense in hindsight. I'll give it a go tonight and upload a new build. Edit - I gave it a tr...

It definitely is possible (See http://pix.www.idnet.com) and is already working (more or less) provided you are using Windows or PSP.
