The ALL2LAME frontend further automates the process, even though it doesn't do anything magical in itself.

I thought the CD version of Loom wasn't an official Lucasarts product. Of course it was. O_o http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0273744/trivia: owever, the rights to this version existed with Mindscape, not Lucas (supposedly, LucasArts did not have the means to produce a CD-ROM title at the time), and wer...

I hope this adventure gaming week ends with them adding Monkey Island 1 & 2. (After all they are some of the most requested GoG games, 5th and 6th place in fact) I really want those games! :( You can vote for them to be added here if you are interested too: http://www.gog.com/en/wishlist/ But t...

Callahan's Crosstime Saloon is one of Legend's games; their engine is known to be very difficult to re-implement.

This game got the artfully thorough treatment over at HG101 a little while ago, FYI.

Ah, I didn't realize Last Crusade came in EGA and VGA versions.

In that case, shouldn't Indy3 (VGA) be on that list? Or is there no such thing as a version of Indy3 (VGA) that ever had that copy protection?

Indy3 copy protection problems

I was just poking at my odd French copy of Indy3 prior to putting it on eBay. That's the one I mentioned here - if you want it, speak up now. As reported in that old post, I had no problems getting this game to work in ScummVM 0.8.0. However, trying it with 0.12.0 just now, I end up being shown the ...

So once it's known if the game is freeware or not, also makes a big difference, because when it's freeware, then it could also be put up on the site just as the freeware versions of FOTAQ etc.. There is no doubt about this: the game was definitely released as freeware. (Of course, that doesn't mean...

I picked up the Archives Vol. 1 many, many years ago. Sam & Max, DOTT, and Fate of Atlantis, if memory serves. (I've still only got around to playing DOTT. How naughty of me.) The one in that auction is, of course, the LucasArts Classic Adventures collection, which is entirely different. I used ...

I might add that this game was released as freeware by Metropolis many years ago, if you didn't know already.

A smashing game, though. Apparently there was a talkie version, but it was only available in Polish.

Whoever translated the script did a bang-up job.
