That means you gotta use the kyra.dat file that has the same release date as the version of ScummVM you're trying to use. Or at least that's what I think it means.

I can already imagine that you'll be kindly asked to reveal which version of ScummVM and which particular "new graphics card" you are talking about. Note that this is just a hunch and may not reflect the actual probable near-future.

Don't know about the level codes (haven't played Gob 1 on a mobile), but in Gob 1 you can't save, you only GOT the codes. In Gob 2 and all subsequent Gob engine games, to save you have to move the cursor to the upper edge of the screen so the drop-down menu would appear, highlight the diskette icon,...

I can already foresee that the nearest admin/dev/anybody who's not new to the forum/me will ask you to share the exact details on the versions of ScummVM and the game itself that you are using and the MD5s for your game data files.

Actually, no. There's also a few cases of "push button", "pull lever" and the occasional "talk to Valerie" moment. :D

Raziel, good way to spoil the mood of the play in this thread. Where's your sensahumor? B-sides, I named about the only game in there that actually was claimed to be supported soon :P So there.

Aaaaaand we all miraculously guess which version revision of ScummVM for which system you are using, naturally. Right?
I'm really sorry, but it is considered polite to give full details of what you're running the game on when asking for help. I swear it is.

But when I start scummVM and try to start the game the application can't find the game file.
I assume you've added it prim and proper, right? Knowing which particular version of ScummVM (and BaSS too, while we're at it) it is might also help a bit.

Too bad you don't support SCI, I've always loved Jones in the Fast Lane far more than Sims :D

What about that Dune 2 thing you mentioned a while back on the news page? I'd play that on my mobile :D

This is a nigh-infinite list, so instead of games I'll sound off the composers, if you don't mind. Robert C. Prince III and his comrade-in-arms Lee Jackson - Duke Nukem 2, 3d, Manhattan Project; Doom 1-2; Rise of the Triad; Demon Star. The textbook definition of MIDI rock, ambiance and ambient rock...

Um... Details? Does it drop you back to the game chooser of ScummVM, to desktop, or what? Do you get a blank screen of death, or maybe a particular error?

I also assume you've had the game set up properly in ScummVM's game adding dialogues - since DoTT works you probably know what you're doing :)

Golly gee gosh, you're right! Nippon Safes and Broken Sword simply aren't compiled in. Guess I'll have to figure out this SVN thing for myself after all. Thanks for pointing my mistake out, Eugene :)

This is a nigh-infinite list, so instead of games I'll sound off the composers, if you don't mind. <...> Norihiko Hibino - Metal Gear Solid 2/3/4/TPO. Supposedly started out as a support for the guest-star of Harry Gregson-Williams, but quickly built his own vision of the soundtrack which made it q...

Ohkay, Lure of the Temptress works, Broken Sword 1 is also not recognized as a valid game even though the Win32 ScummVM works from the same files without a hitch. I'm genuinely stumped, as I've thought the datafile checks are handled equally and identically across all platforms.

FYI, you're still missing several pieces for the thing so looking through it was useless anyway. IIRC, to leave this screen you had to click in a specific portion of the screen... but it's been a looong while since I've played S&M since I don't even own the thing.
