The only thing I can think of is that when I updated to 5.00 myself, I had to swap to using the 1.0 single eboot instead of the 1.5 version for some reason. You could try the other version but if that doesn't help you then I'm out of ideas.

If you haven't done it already, try deleting your old scummvm files before copying over the new ones - especially the scummvm.ini file which is probably in the root folder.

In the long run I'll have a go at the LSL1 remake and the like but I'm guessing the guys here have a lot of work to do before these later games become playable. Some of the early SCI games (such as SQ3) were already completable in FreeSCI though and I'd expect them to be up and running more quickly....

I've used the same converted video for both Windows and PSP which was dxa files for the video with ogg's for the sound. As far as I recall, I just used the scummvm tools with default settings to do the conversion. If you have the videos in a different folder to the rest of the game that might cause ...

Just convert them in the same way as for Windows and copy the converted videos onto the PSP.

I've just compiled the latest 13.0 build. 14.0 doesn't compile for the PSP at the moment so I'll probably steer clear of that for a good while. If you download the scummvm tools you can convert all the audio into ogg format which will save some space. They are still going to take up quite a bit of room but you may be able to get it down below 1GB for the pair.

You have to press L from the save screen to get to the main menu.

I probably should have mentioned that to get the music to work you need to rename all the music files - 22.ogg to track22.ogg etc so that the CD Audio player picks them up.

I've compiled it and put it in the usual place. I think the problems I was having with my new firmware and T7G were to do with having to use the 1.0 single eboot rather than the 1.5 kxploit version. In The 7th Guest, is moving the cursor the only really slow thing? i.e. once you reach the hotspot you want to click and you say you want to go there, is the video played smoothly? 7th guest doesn't work too well yet as I mentioned in an earlier post. Its nearly ok - its just moving the cursor around thats the real problem. I've added Bud Tucker to the build and uploaded again - this is one I don't own so I can't tell you how it runs.
