There should be something about this in the forum rules. Every so often people will ask "Is it possible for ScummVM to support *game title here*?", and the answer is always the same. Technically, it's possible to support any game, as long as you have the proper resources and someone willin...

If we are talking about a fan project then the best use of time would be to help Residual get MI4 support rolling instead of competing with LA for the better MI2 remake (because LA has MI2SE planned most probably). A lot less chance of of being sued that way too. The video description kind of state...

My favourite is the Sierra disk release, though. Are there more differences between Coktel's European floppy edition and the US Sierra one, beside the start screen? http://img406.imageshack.us/img406/2171/106123674000.th.gif http://img197.imageshack.us/img197/9779/109402855500.th.png I own European...

A great looking concept video, but I doubt LucasArts would ever be interested in making such a high budget remake. They didn't exactly go over the top with the first game.

Besides, is the original artwork for all of the locations still available?

SCI games aren't properly supported yet, so if you do own a DOS version, you're better off playing it via DOSBox. I'm sure Collector from Sierra Help Forums can give you more information here. I tried running King's Quest VI a while ago and it's mostly unplayable due to numerous glitches and a show ...

There's a Windows version? Must say that I've never encountered it myself. Me neither. It is supported and the files needed to play it are listed on the Wiki page, so I guess it does exist. Anyone here who has it? Any videos? And surely the music in the Amiga version is better? =\ It's a matter of ...

The "Zombies"-scan is perfect, Thank you. I aim to please. I'll work on that too. The same with "Goblins", but right now I have other things to do. Take your time. I'm just glad I could help out. I've already downloaded almost all your work and anything new you do is a bonus. &q...

I'm guessing that, like with any other posters, it's all about the right source material. If you have a 600+ DPI scan of the Loom poster, post it in this thread.

We're still waiting for the covers of Gobliiins and Goblins 3.

What kind of avatar do you want, anyway? If it's a photo, use JPEG and I'm sure you can manage to stay within the limit. Post the picture here and I'll compress it for you.

There are numerous ways of exporting properly compressed PNG files. The PNGOut plug-in that's a part of IrfanView is a good alternative as well. It allows you to manipulate the chunk data, just like pngcrush does. There are also multiple plug-ins for Photoshop and other image editing programs. Like ...

It's nice to see something new on the Sludge scene. Still, I think most adventure game makers will stick to AGS. After all, it's been around for quite a while and it's certainly loved by small development studios. Al Emmo, the Blackwell series or Super Jazz Man. Good stuff. Sludge never got the same...

That's actually a hard question to answer, because all of the versions have something the others don't. We already talk quite a bit about the music in all of the Goblins games. For me, the best version of Goblins 3 would be the European floppy one. AdLib soundtrack is by far the best. You won't get ...

Ecstatica & Ecstatica II

It's time for my first post on the boards. It took me years to come all the way here from ScummVM forums, but now I'm here to stay. I know that ResidualVM project doesn't get the same kind of attention as ScummVM, but I wanted to ask about what engines are being considered to be supported. Also, I w...

In other words, it's stuck with potentially-crappy-looking icons and you can't go all out with them like you could with the Vista icons. =[ Would you like some cheese to go with that whine? Hehe. I think you're overreacting. 16 colors for a 32 x 32 icon is more than enough if you ask me. Take these...
