Nothing good. Only solution which could be recommended now is to compress it with minimum bitrate possible, and you will get just several hundred kilobytes.

The md5's are only checked starting with 0.8.0 as far as I know.
Nope, we added them in 0.6.0.

Okay, I will keep myself and will not delette your post. #1. Did you ever think that there is a real reason behind that rule #0? NO WAREZ. Ignore it and ScummVM will be shut down by LEC lawyers in several days. So if you're really thankful to us, don't do it or at least don't talk about it. If you w...

ok, well now I've gotten Monkey Island 1 to work. Loom works too, though without sound and music--I see on the compatibility list that Loom sound is not supported for Macintosh in either 0.8.0 or in CVS, which is a pity because really you can't play the game without it. Music isn't supported in Mac...

doesn't that collide with current BASS projects? No, BASS is a completely different story. Original game author i.e. Revolution sponsors the project. No copyright issues will ever arise, moreover the game is free. Eugene PS. And besides, those are enchancements in a manner of our scalers, i.e. no a...

I think that it's possible with a good amount of volunteers, but a lot of them. It seems difficult, but better outdated page for asian languages than nothing (korean, chinese and japanese people generally has really bad english). Heh, we don't have any volunteer to write ScummVM documentation even ...

Why would that be a problem? Rad Game Tools does provide a free-of-charge toolkit that is able to convert existing Bink/Smacker videos to AVI (allowing you to use any codec you want) and more. Heh, think a little about it. Here are 2 routes. Route #1. We convert them. In this case we should obtain ...

Should that be an insult to my friend because this code is so dirty? If he knew it, I wouldn't ask here. No, not dirty. Just it's difficult to find those 10 lines of code in 1000. * Copy simon directory into something simon.old * Alter files in simon directory * Do: diff -u -r simon.old simon >kewl...

It will not go. We doing our best to not alter games. Only exception is when there is an obvious bug which wasn't fixed by original developers, and which prevents the game to be completable.

Yes, it's possible. Use ScummVM Tools for that. There is an accompanying README. Also search this forum for details too.

putting it in the registry is a bit irrelevant because lavosspawn provided the reason why it's a .ini file. Moreover, he was only ScmmVM Team member (i.e. one who can do actual coding) who expressed his though in this thread. Not that there is something bad, just this question was rised several tim...
