While I have only made a few changes to the DS port this time round, the engine teams have all been working on their respective engines, so all those cha...

You know, I did think of adding a touchpad underneath the keyboard just a few weeks ago. I haven't done it, but I think it would be useful.

One for the list, I think.

The Curse of Monkey Island is not supported on the DS, and it is unlikely to be added.

If you check the ScummVM site, there is a complete list of the games that work.

Hi, I took a look at this issue today (at long last) and it appears that it works if your speech file is MP3 compressed.

I'm going to try to sort out a solution for the original audio files too, if I can.

You'll never be able to play Full Throttle or The Dig without a RAM pack on the original DS or DS Lite. It's possible that one day you'll be able to play it on the DSi, and that won't need a RAM pack.

Sorry, I haven't looked at that. Yet again, all my time was spent making the games all run without crashing. I may be able to take a look at it for the next version. If I do, your save game will be a big help, so thanks for that.

The M3 cards need certain files to be on the SD card before they will work at all. You should have these files on the CD that came with your M3, or you can download them. I haven't got a link to hand though.

Hi ArmorSword,

Actually I think I know what's causing your problems. I found an issue recently which could explain what you're seeing. If you have another DS around (or could borrow one) you'll probably find it works ok there.

I hope to fix this in the next version.

If you press Y during play, you should see some debug information whenever the game tries to play CD music. My copy shows: Playing track 18 Format: 17 Rate : 22050 Bits : 4 BlkSz : 1017 If yours shows a different number for 'format' or 'bits', it probably won't work. ...

Topic: What about seperate config files for each build?

I've got the final 0.13.1 here, and separate files for each build are used. There was no decision to go with one ini file - the separate ini files code just broke because some of the underlying ScummVM code changed. I noticed this just before the final 0.13.1 and fixed it. If you're running the fina...

I would upgrade to 0.13.1. The BASS crash is easily avoided, and the other bugs are minor annoyances which won't spoil your enjoyment of the game.

Besides, there were bugs in 0.11.0 as well. No code is ever completely bug free.

Enjoy the game!

This is deliberate. I made ScummVM DS disable autosave on boot a long time ago because it would happen at odd times and make the game pause for a few seconds when it saved. The pause is unavoidable due to the slow write rate of SD cards. This was really annoying and looked like a bug unless you knew...

Can you post a comment on your video about what fixed the problem? I would, but for some reason my browser won't let me post comments on Youtube.
