The MIDI sounds fine, I think maybe the playback device is the main concern here. I always use a Yamaha Tyros keyboard workstation so maybe you could send me your MIDI and I will see if I can get a good recording from it.

Hardly matters for a new game that is likely to support Windows XP and maybe MAC.

Excellent, and it states: "Yes, we bought the right to develop StS4 and to release it worldwide. We also have options to develop more sequels for PC and consoles. The game will be completly in 3D, but without any action parts. StS4 will be a classical adventure like Simon 1+2 or Monkey Island. ...

Depends on the game as well..

Games like Simon the Sorcerer work best with Adlib/MT-32, try playing through a soundfont and it sounds awful as for example sometimes a Sax is used as a bass sound.

Hello glidem, Don't please anyone misunderstand my post. As I've said ScummVM is GREAT - one heck of a tool!! with lots of features/improvements. I do use ScummVM for my other less XP compliant games - Monkey 1/2 etc. And Loom (runs in ScummVM straight from the disc). But faced with mucking about w...
