Are you guys codesigning the binary?

What the last post here says: http://forums.scummvm.org/viewtopic.php?t=7452

If that ends up being the problem, I'll make a sticky with instructions.

The connection between your PC and your iPhone doesn't go through your router's firewall, so it's unlikely that there's a problem there. Make sure you're trying an SFTP connection and not a plain FTP connection, that you've installed OpenSSH in Cydia, and that you're connecting to the right IP addre...

Pre-3.0 ScummVM would just keep running in the background when this happened. At that point though, Apple seems to have "fixed" the method it used.

There's apps you can download on Cydia to allow any app to run in the background though.

I got distracted by the swine flu so the Cydia upgrade took some extra time. Should be there now though.

Re: Monkey Island 3 - in fullscreen

Okay, Monkey Island 3 work's great but isn't fullscreen... on each side in the landscape mode is a black stripe :-( The IPhone screen is small enough, how can I fix it? It's fullscreen. The black bars is because the original game has a 4:3 aspect ratio (resolution 640x480), while the iPhone screen ...

Looks like the Cydia layout was changed at some point after the instructions were written. Updated, thanks. EDIT: Eh, actually no. A shortcut was added on the front page, but it's still possible to install the source using the Repositories entry in the Sections tab. So the instructions were still co...

The wiki article says to select the source package in Cydia, not to type the URL in directly. So it's correct :).

I'm not saying the ScummVM crew should now jump on making a formal iPhone app, but this C64 app implies that most of the difficulties that I have seen discussed can be circumvented. Not really. The difficulty is Apple's EULA. As we've seen before with Frotz, it's definitely been possible for apps l...

SVN snapshot builds will typically have all engines enabled. There's the one the buildbot automatically builds every night, but the iPhone version takes a bit of manual effort to get working. I'll put up a .deb package with one at some point after 1.0.0.

There's actually three "mouse" modes: * Plain mode: Your finger is the mouse, moving the finger moves the mouse. * Click'n'drag: Your finger is the mouse, moving the finger -clicks and holds- the mouse button, and moves the mouse. * Touchpad mode: The screen is a touchpad. What's happening...

there may be some compression options as well, so I can also fit some Music on my iScummVM  If you mean in general, the iPhone port has supported MP3/Ogg/FLAC since the beginning :). If you mean the DW engine specifically, then I'm not sure about the status on support for that. As to the requ...

ScummVM uses a touchpad-style interface. I.e. you don't hit the buttons in the menu directly with your finger, you just move your finger anywhere on the screen as if it were a laptop touchpad, and the cursor will move in the same direction.
