I know Dosbox well Oscar. It's my current solution for most of my Gold box games (amongst others), excluding the few that are from my old A500 only. But then if you want to be pedantic all of the SCUMM VM supported DOS games are fully (from memory) operable under DosBox too. Like and need are two se...

Stick to the one I would say and play through and note any bugs and/or errors. Then update and check if there are any changes, if the problems are still there then report away. Otherwise you can report bugs fixed in a new daily or caused in a new daily. At least this is how I do it.

I think they do if you check their online store Ace. They definitely sell them off the shelf here in Oz though, it's how I nabbed a copy of Grim Fandango for myself finally. It could be down to your local distributors being pains about getting in "limited appeal" titles.

Heh Dungeon Master in SCUMM VM... Scary idea, though honestly not so farfetched IMO as a possibility. But given there has been java based remakes for DM 1&2 platform isn't that big an issue. Hmm I like the LoL games, just wish 3 worked properly under XP for me as it's the only one I have. And re...

Malcolm's Revenge is completable as well. Which conscience did you choose later on? Would be good to know for testing reasons. As a side note, any idea when the HOF demo will be included in the support? I thought we had support for both HoF demos (interactive and non-interactive one) allready. Mayb...

I was finding without it it was informing me it was an unrecognised version still initially. Though the game still ran on my daily. *shrugs* Hand of Fate was flaky at first, I'm still trying to figure out where the issues were coming from as the CD didn't pop up any errors on me, but I'm pretty sure...

Hand of Fate DOS CD completable, no noticed glitches beyond not finding the _mouse.csh file initally (that seems to have been related to my old CD though as a new copy of the files to the directory fixed the problem). The datafile section on the wiki needs to be updated it's missing Westwood.001 as ...

There is/was an offshoot for fully implementing the SP campaign named UFO 2K. Still though there's hardly a shortage of open source XCOM clones or attempted remakes if you go looking. I personally haunt the UFO:AI forums and a couple of others, though UFO:AI might be a little beyond conversion to mo...

There are other open source XCOM rebuilds notably UFO 2000 which will use the original data files, or a fan made pack. Can't speak for the completeness as it was pretty dead dev-wise for a fair while.

I missed that point before. That's actually strange. At least on my E51 there's no change in the colours when the menu is opened. I've even adjusted my screen backlighting through the settings and can't replicate your basic issue either. Sorry I can't be of any definite help, I don't even know anyon...

so I'm now laughing my head off at them and enjoying the CD tracks which some of put me in mind of the Monster Mash. You mean this one ? Yep, when I was a little kid ABC (Australian Broadcasting Corporation) had the music video on most mornings it seemed. Is there another besides Bobby Picket's?

Had a friend dump a box of all his old computer stuff on me tonight, so I now have two copies of Quarantine 2: Road Warrior amongst other things, including an unscathed copy of Drascula, he bought it for his kids who subsequently decided they didn't want to even touch it (spoilt brats but I shouldn'...

While the source was handed over eventually thanks to the production staff, no rights were given for the distribution of either of the original Discworld games (AFAIK Noir isn't based off the Tinsel engine) it would seem. This is the most common case, we've been lucky as a community Revolution were ...
