Re: Manhole Enhanced - unable to launch via command line

It appears it will detect properly with "manhole" in the latest svn builds. The official 2.0 build crashes out.

Manhole Enhanced - unable to launch via command line

It appears that the manhole enhanced (short name: manhole-cd) is unable to be called via command line in both 2.0.0 and as of last night's SVN (win32). However, if I start scummvm, add the game to it, and then call it via command line, it now works (exact same command line). This is the command line...

Leather Goddesses of Phobos 2

When launching this game through a shortcut, I am using the line: ".\scummvm\scummvm.exe" --no-console -F -p.\leather\ lgop2 I have set up my other scummvm games using this method and not had an issue. However, with this game, it gives a pop-up window error: MinGW Runtime Assertion Asserti...

Is there any documentation of which files are needed for Lighthouse and Rama? I have both games sitting here, but it seems the files on the disc are modified during an install. And sometimes they have the same name but different file sizes. edit: I may have gotten them both running. No errors in the...

Here is an entire list of bugs inherent to the original Discworld games with have workarounds and/or fixes implemented in ScummVM: http://wiki.scummvm.org/index.php/Tinsel/Bugs And no, ScummVM isn't going to re-write the game to fix the annoyance for you. The only time they will change the original ...

If you look at your stats at night, then the text is purple instead of red. This is the normal behavior of the game, but the OP thinks it looks ugly & wants it changed in ScummVM. It's not a bug, as this is how the original game showed it. Your so quick to shoot him down, and you aren't even ta...

I have Full Pipe in my steam library. I suppose I got it before it disappeared.

Do I understand correctly that the steam version is not supported?

Also, if the game has no voices and no text, then what exactly is being "localized"? The menus?

This is different compared to pre 1.0.0 release I suppose. Back then, even with games that had a shared engine, only fully stable games were detected in the "main" releases. I always had to download an SVN version to even try to detect anything that was not fully supported. It doesn't both...

There were plenty more beyond just Dragonsphere that I thought weren't supported yet (at least, they've never been announced in the main release threads). I can do a scan and list out various titles if that is helpful. edit (and I believe these are all different engines): Hi-Res Adventure #6 - The D...

ScummVM full release detecting unsupported games

I'm not sure if this was a conscious decision or not, but in the past the full release versions did not detect games that were typically only detectable with the SVN version. I have a few games sitting around that have WIP engines, and occasionally I scan them just to see if they play any differentl...

It appears the disk images require specific naming to be detected by ScummVM. Is this documented anywhere? I don't see any of these three games listed on the games data files page.
