Options -> graphics -> graphics mode. Choose one of the scaling algorithms that scale by 2x or 3x (e.g. HQ2x if you want smoothed graphics, or 2x if you want good old pixels).

Have you set a scaler, so that ScummVM will stretch the graphics to fill the screen ?

I sort of meant which files to copy. But the main thing is WERE to copy them to. By HOW I meant do I have to do anything in the Scumm program? The usual way to add a game to ScummVM is the following : 1. Create a directory for the game somewhere on your harddisk (where it suits you the most). 2. Co...

Unless it has officially been said so by the owner of the rights (in that case : the spanish publisher as it has rights on the spanish translation), the game is not freeware. Even if it's not sold anymore anywhere.

You may try to contact Erbe and ask them about the status of the game.

The Curse of Monkey Island, Full Throttle and Grim Fandango are still being published by Erbe, the company that has the rights to publish these games on spanish, but the earlier games (Monkey 1 and 2, Zak McKracken, etc.) are freeware. Have they officially been announced as freeware by their former...

Although the game seems to run normally, it has issues in two areas that are related to CPU speed. You can use a tool to slow your CPU in order to correct these glitches : - in the shooting area in the police station, the targets will take ages to appear (between 2-10 minutes instead of real-time) -...

Day of the Tentacle has english speech with french subtitles. Apart from Sam and Max which is fully localized, there are also Full Throttle , Curse of Monkey Island and Grim Fandango (and probably Escape from Monkey Island , though I haven't played it yet). If you're looking for other games than Lu...

That's not an official version, and as such we can't vouch for it, and won't put it up. If someone wants to become an official Ubuntu builder though, that would be a different matter. Well, I know that's not an official build but I thought that maybe you would make it available while clearly saying...

Installing a package built for another distro (Ubuntu vs. Debian) is always tricky, even if one distro is based on the other. As you say, the Debian package is compiled for a specific version of FLAC, and your Ubuntu distro contains another. There's not much you can do about that, except 1) Compile...

Could it be that the problem relates to file extensions being hidden by default in Windows and thus speech files currently named speech1.clu.clu and speech2.clu.clu (but displayed with only one extension) ?

Got it from the Ubuntu forums a few days ago and it sure works fine.

Maybe the .deb package and instructions should be made available from the ScummVM website, as I guess the package will not be available forever (as it's hosted on freefilehoster.com) ?

I'd like to install ScummVM 0.8.2. I've just switched to Linux (Ubuntu Dapper Drake) and am not familiar with the way Linux works yet. Although I used Linux years ago as a student, using Windows since has made me forget quite a lot of "good use of an OS" habits. Well. While trying t...

AFAIK, the version of ScummVM in the repository is 0.8.0. Is there any chance that it gets updated to 0.8.2 ? And then updated in the future when new versions come out ?
