http://gforge.lug.fi.uba.ar/projects/freeprince/ seems to be by the same folks as http://sourceforge.net/projects/princed/ Yes, they are. A news item at gforge: We had moved the updated repository from SourceForge to the GForge project. PR stands for Princed Resources. This program is able to impor...

Re: Confused with language options

Now, I'm a little confused. Does this mean, that these are the supported languages, or that I can change the languages using scummvm? I know it works with BASS (since ALL languages are included), but I can't get it working with scummvm. ScummVM runs original game data, i.e. it is just a substitute ...

I read a lot of last "The work is going well"-news and the cinE-page looks quite similar. Well, Yaz is just too lazy to update web. Watch CVS. But if you say the project isn't dead...well, that's good to hear. :) Future Wars is completable, Operation Stealth is playable (probably even com...

since you seem to be into some if the internal details of the music in LA games, allow me one question: on what type of (roland) midi device was the music of MI2 composed? Roland MT-32 I tried ScummVM with the GS Mode enabled (if I understand it right, it does a GS -> MT32 mapping), that's correct....

It depends on amount of free time of those devs who are able to fix the bug. Some bugs get fixed almost immediately, and some of our bugreports are more than 3 years old.

No, they're still here. You don't specify your OS, but maybe something fetches those keys for you?

How can you fix things faster than it takes me to post them here? :D :D :D :D Kirben and me worked hard over a year to make that happen. Now it's a matter of changing 1 or 2 lines of code (game details and probably file name substitution). Though there are still bunch of bugs in the games, and we l...

Yes, this is known. Also you may run most of older games which ScummVM supports with dosbox and most of Humongous Entertainment titles are for Windows too. But native run as you describe is limited to Windows, and ScummVM is about portability, i.e. try to do that on your pocket computer or game cons...

Interesting. What made you think like that? Yes, there were no commits for a while, but that's just because only minor bugs are left and Yaz0r is busy with next generation of CinE engine ATM.

Check decrunchFile() in simon/simon.cpp of ScummVM source code. Ok, I'll see if I can figure something out. I'll let someone who knows how it should be done worry about adding the demo details to the Simon engine because, as was said earlier, that hasn't been done yet. ScummVM currently says: Alter...

Additionally you will need to unpact 7tune file from the demo which is packed MOD file. And if you ask, yes, this is better target than that ITE hack I mentioned above ;)

No and no. You should take that course if you want to understand how patching works with ScummVM code. Or at least read that book ;)
