With the imminent release of the XNA Express tools, it will be completely possible to develop a release of ScummVM for the Xbox 360. Regrettably (at least for now), you will need to pay $99 for the privilege of playing homebrew on your 360, although I believe this is only a temporary measure. I was...

I think you'll find he has a nice shiny Developers preview CD/DVD containing Leopard that was given to attendees of the Apple WWDC, so he should be able to test it out.

Re: Question about Broken Sword versions

Today I saw the "Sold Out" versions of the first two Broken Sword games for sale. I almost bought them when I remembered that I'd heard that one such budget release of the games was not compatible with SCUMMVM. Could you please clarify whether or not the version I saw would work with your...

I wouldn't even bother trying because it won't work. As Kraft said, you'll need to wait for an eboot method to be released specifically for firmware v2.71 and rumours are it'll never appear because Sony have done a 'good' job of removing security holes in the firmware.

Another option is to get someone skilled to install the PSP modchip for you. It looks like a PITA to install. AFAIK, it *should* be available anytime now.

Try copying the datafiles from the CD's again. One of your files may be corrupted or something.

I know it's a bit of a hassle but have you tried Pacifist from here . It says in the description it can open dmg files, so you may be able to extract the ScummVM.app from the disk image even though you can't mount it. If you do try it, use the PPC build .... I'm not too sure if the Universal binary...

What size is the file that you've downloaded? Does it match with what's listed on the Sourceforge files list (here)?

Well, as reported previously it seems to work on PowerPC (I have a G3 iBook). I can only guess but there may be a bit of code that has escaped from being translated for Intel Macs hence the crashes. As mentioned before, look at the Console (/Applications/Utilities/Console) for any further error mess...

Re: re:no speech either

hmmm... the files seems to be missing.. but the game can be played.. is there any way for me to get those files if I dont have the CD? Which of course raises the question, how can you have the game and not have the CDs...? and we all know the answer to that question! Starts with a w and ends with a...
