I dunno why, but when I try using the OpenGL graphic option, it just gives me a blank screen. Weather in window or fullscreen mode. Using the latest daily builds. Using Win7 32 bit with a GeForce 9800 GT graphics card. Up to date drivers. First thing I'd do is check if you can run QtGears . If not ...

Long story short: Full-screen doesn't always work. Fingolfin explained the details here . What you can do is get the Win32 ScummVM Daily Snapshot from the downloads page and then use the OpenGL graphics filter. This allows to stretch the window to any size. By the way, Google translate is your frien...

You can die in all Kirandia games, however in the 2nd and 3rd game you get a waring first if you are about to do something stupid. The 1st game has a couple of show-stoppers that LogicDeLuxe described. You don't get any real warning before you die in kyra 2 nor kyra 3. The only thing kyra 3 offers ...

I bet it's ScummVM's request for a full-screen window that crashes some part of Windows' video system. There should be a config .ini file in either C:\Users\[user]\AppData\Roaming\ScummVM or C:\Documents and Settings\[user]\Application Data\ScummVM Find it and delete it. You may have to turn on 'sho...

I believe you only need HUGO.DAT if you wish to play Hugo's House of Horrors. If you don't have that game you should be able to skip the file w/o a problem. Have you tried re-downloading the zip? It sounds like it may have gotten corrupted in transfer. If the explorer on Win7 (right?) doesn't just r...

Hi.
This stuff should go to the bug tracker and not on the main forum.
I think you may have this bug and I think it was in the original game aswel, (so not a ScummVM bug).

Just check there if you are confused about the files needed for a game.

Thanks for the interest but for now I have to ask you to have patience, unfortunately. When you can actually play a level (and not just walk around in Tristram), I'll do the Blog/SourceForge page sharing thing. There are still some bumps in the road ahead that may force me to rewrite large chunks (I...
