The problem is here

iphone_video.m:
glTexParameteri(GL_TEXTURE_2D, GL_TEXTURE_MIN_FILTER, GL_NEAREST);

It needs to be changed to GL_LINEAR

You do get a little bit of this effect on the PSP, but in general it looks much better. My guess is that because you're trying to preserve the aspect ratio, you end up reducing the usable screen real estate too much, causing heavy downsampling. My advice to the iphone porter is to forget the aspect ...

BTW I just played Full Throttle halfway through with MP3 and movie compression using the subversion build and it was completely smooth.

Please list the version of ScummVM you're using. What makes a big difference is if you're using compression. If you compressed your video files, there will be some slowdown. If you compressed your audio files, there will be a little bit more slowdown. You can try the subversion build which has some ...

Please give some more information: - What version of ScummVM are you using? - Have you been able to play CoMI on ScummVM using a PC? - What do you mean when you say it shuts down the PSP after 5 seconds. What do you see? The main menu of ScummVM or do you actually get into the game itself? BTW The r...

Wow looks much better than the first one. They definitely have a bigger budget this time. Did Lechuck's voice change though? It doesn't sound like the original actor, which would be a shame.

Which ScummVM version are you using?

HBL is known to still be unstable at this point. If it works for a while and then stops, it's quite likely that the game runs out of memory, which, from what I understand, is one of the problems with HBL.

From what I understand, they're constantly working on HBL to improve it. Once it's a more stable platform we can look to see if any extra tweaks are needed.

Any idea which ScummVM version works with HBL currently?

Oh and I managed to get all endings but the Dektora ones by choosing to do different things a minute or two before the ending.

According to this page , some endings depend on things you did in the first act. But, as I said, I didn't get the impression that anything I did really had any meaningful impact so I had no incentive to replay it. (Though perhaps I will some day. It is a very pretty game to look at.) Actually this ...

OK well if you don't get another crash while playing, it's most likely a Simon engine problem ie. a general scummvm problem. But a save game is a must to make any progress on it, as it's possible it was just some random thing. If you do get a crash again, it could either be a PSP issue or a ScummVM ...

since seven years our project exists now, and we've already sent two or three requests to LA, without any answer. of course that's not an acceptance, but we're optimistic enough to think, that LA is not such a big asshole to let us work for over seven years without giving one short answer after rea...

I remember thinking that Blade Runner was an unusual game. I played through it twice, and got two very different endings but the game seemed to consider them both equally valid. Usually when there's more than one ending, there's one ideal ending and one or more less ideal ones. On the other hand, I...

Haven't played it, but by the reactions here... Makes me sad how a game can have so much going for it and still miss the mark by so much. They put so much effort into the graphics and neglected the plot, which is the heart of an adventure game...
