I'm 24 and agree that the DOS age was the best age ever. Started playing adventures when I was like 4. I remember waking my parents up early in the morning to ask how you spelled "suit" for Space Quest II (I actually learned most of my reading/spelling/typing skills from Sierra's parser ga...

Well the problem with the Full Throttle sequel was that it really wasn't any good and LA knew it. Sam & Max 2, on the other hand, is unforgivable. The game was finished and they just....you know what, I can't get into it again. I'm still very bitter about it. The good news is that LA can't make ...

Just tried out Space Quest 0: Replicated. Works great. The only problems are you can't do any Shift+number keys. ie- I can't type an "!" or "$". Also it's annoying that F7 brings up the virtual keyboard when it's also the restore game shortcut key in AGI games. Other than that it...

There's a program called FreeSCI that aims to support all classic Sierra SCI engine-driven games but presently it only supports SCI0 games (16 colour games with mouse & sound card support and a parser interface) and SOME SCI1 games (SQ1VGA, PQ3, and other P&C games with black and white curso...

Isn't there already a linux port for Quake 3? Couldn't you use that for Jedi Outcast/Academy somehow?

Tried it out yesterday. Works fine except some keys don't respond at all. I tried doing Shift+1 for a "!" character and nothing happened. Same with apostrophes and such. Other than that it works good. The cursour is a little hard to see on the white keys, though.

They'd screw it up. I don't want them to make it. I haven't played the 4th one yet, but I heard it was nothing like the predecessors. (Obviously without Ron Gilbert, but even Curse of Monkey Island is far better, so it seems)

Curse of Monkey Island is a Windows game and doesn't work in DOS, therefore it won't work in DOSBox.

I'm not sure about the others but Lost In Time definitely works. And the latest available version is 0.12. It's on these forums if it's not on the website.

You should have a bunch of NDS files in that zip named scummvm_a.nds, scummvm_b.nds etc. They're all built to handle different engines as the DS can't handle so much in one NDS file. Build C plays Simon the Sorceror.
