Note to Vinterstum:
If yo read this, could you please add the compatibility info directly to the available Mac versions on the downloads page, like it's done for the WinMobile versions, eg package for OSX 10.1.3 and above?
Thanks
Joachim

Did every version of the DOS version of Monkey Island 2 come with the security mechanism at the beginning? I was thinking it was removed from the Monkey Island Madness version. Thanks again. Yes, the exe file was changed later for some CD-releases, but the resource files are identical. The exe with...

The difference between VGA CD and ALternative VGA CD is only filenaming. While VGA CD from Bounty Pack or the original SOMI CD uses MONKEY.*, Alternative CD from Monkey Madness (afaik) uses MONKEY1.*. There are no other differences, not even in the files themselves. The FM-Towns version is exactly t...

Wouldn't It be 1.0.0 ? That would seem to be a more logical release number than 0.10.0 imho, but it's your interpreter, you can decide what your next release number is named. Heck, why not ScummVM release 42.77.891 ?  Any reason why 1.0.0 would be more logical than 0.10.0? Heh, it's pre...

As I pointed out in my previous post, ironically, %Appdata% points to a subdir of the WINDOWS directory itself in pre Win2000 machines. It's C:\WINNT\Profiles\%USERNAME%\AppData for NT4 and C:\WINDOWS\APPDATA for Win95/98/ME and C:\%SETTINGS%\%USERNAME%\%APPDATA% for Win2k/XP machines. Ah yes, depe...

Considering that you only have to add the games once I don't see what the problem is. As Haze said in regard to MAME: 11 seconds is nothing compared to the amount of time you spend playing the game. Depends on the view. A few hundred thousand users x time x amount of games is a long long time. :) I...

I prefer to follow the KISS principle in such matters -- power users loose a bit, all others find all their savegames in a single spot). And that's exactly my point. Being a KISS follower myself, I'd really not like AppPath as location for ScummVM related files. Simplest way to go would be one sing...
