be careful with boot params, they are certainly not a method of skipping through to certain parts of the game in place of saves. the least of your concerns with boot params are the lack of inventory items. by using a boot param you effectively skip the setup of many important variables. you might be...

$30 is very expensive, keep your eye on ebay and certain web shops and you will find it cheaper, I paid no more than $12 for both of my versions(EN/JP). You can find the Japanese TG16 Loom for £14.99(pretty pricey but good company) here http://www.genkivideogames.com/games/loom-lucas-arts-pcenginesu...

The perfect playback is not surprising. The porter used the ScummVM source code, and has also used the same code to port Inherit the Earth, Simon the Sorcerer 2 and Flight of the Amazon Queen. The datafiles provided with each version are most likely a collaboration of the various different versions ...

The Japanese version plays, however the charset is not supported yet.
Does ScummVM expect the warning track to be named "track01.xxx" and the third track "track02.xxx"?
that worked for me.

I was trying to find a higher res scan of that advert over at the CGW Museum.
I didnt manage to find it but did come across this issue

Maybe that would help with a Loom Poster, if we could get a better scan of the cover.

Last Crusade poster is probably possible.

I found out that the image from the front cover was actually used as a promo image around the time.
It would be great to try and get hold of a decent scan of this promo image.
