Not that easy: 1) Last I've heard he still wants AGS to stay closed 2) AGS allows extensions via DLLs, which doesn't exactly lends itself to portability 1. yeah, that's what I also heard, because he got burned on an older project of him.. And ofcourse not 'opening up' gives him more control on the ...

It would be great if Chris (creator of AGS) would allow his engine to be incorporated into Scummvm so only one 'engine' is needed to run a lot of games.. AGS is a real great engine, and has a lot of amazing and fun free (and some commercial) adventuregames written with it, so if you haven't actually...

[quote="Tubeliar"]Although rewriting to Java SE would help, it would be quite useless in itself since ScummVM is already available on just about every platform./quote]

Well, make it JavaBD compatible and you can play it on any blurayplayer..

I'm now using a daily build of AnkSVN (AnkhSvn-Daily-2.0.5100.174) which seems to work fine.. When I use 'Update to latest version' now on the sln it seems to get it nicely (although the SVN server is quite slow IMHO).. And I just build a nice debug version.. So now I can check it out to see if I ca...

But again, be warned: If you don't really know what you are doing (and to be frank, it doesn't sound as if you are), it can be risky to use latest version. :) LOL.. I must admit that I don't really know what I'm doing using SVN this way (used TortoiseSVN in the past in combination with unrealscript...
