Re: Steamdeck ScummVM required?
The Sierra games all use DOSBox (with sorely lacking config files that need a lot of tweaking). I have them all on Steam but I chose to install ScummVM and DOSBox anyway to do it all manually myself. I also have a bunch of versions of games that aren't on Steam (like the floppy versions of CD games,...

I read the thread title and for a moment thought you were remapping the F5 menu shortcut key to Escape.

Re: Can you customize the "series" sorting option?
I didn't even know about the categories function in the game listing until just now. But yeah, customizing that might be a nice feature. I understand it's likely based on the game id in part because some slightly modified Sierra games I have are listed under Fangame and others.

I would've thought it'd be as easy as setting the display mode to OpenGL, but I guess not?

I think you're vastly underestimating the work needed to support a brand new game engine.gemeaux333 wrote: ↑Mon Apr 11, 2022 6:49 pm Hello, I try to make work a Omni3D game with ScummVM but can't add it, all details here :

Re: 2.5.1 Scaling Bug With Gobliins?
Do you have custom graphics settings for the Goblins games? If so, either disable them or also set the "Edit Game" scaling settings to Tv 2x or whatever (I recommend Tv 3x actually at least for 1080p).

According to that link, all you have to do to "unlock" it is run the 'passwd' command in a terminal window and set a password for elevated privileges. Then you can use "sudo" to run commands that require administrator elevation and can install things with pacman.

Out of the box operation is just Flatpaks I think. But I'm sure you could manually add that. (don't have my Steam Deck yet, I'm in the Q2 group but I've been eating up almost every video I can get my hands on)

Re: Which one do I download for Steam Deck?
As chrisis said, ScummVM is in the main repositories of the Discover app when you switch to Desktop Mode. Then you just have to launch Steam in Desktop Mode, add a non-Steam game to your games list the same way you would on Steam for Windows, and then switch back to Steam Deck mode and it'll be in y...

Re: Nintendo DS Lite
The DSlite is the same as the DSphat right? If so, I still have builds that work with an R4DS. The DSi is different and I'm not sure if it works or not. Anyway, the version I have is split up into different engines and you have to launch them separately to play the games you want to play. But it wor...

Re: DOTT Remaster and Full Throttle Remaster Ultimate Talkies?
Yes, DOTT Remastered replaces sound effects with HQ ones that sometimes sound completely different and aren't just high quality versions of the original sounds. (ie- the whoosh sound when picking up items)
