I take it that you couldn't let some people compress the file themselves?

DXA file size reduction?
Hi again, got a another question. Is there any way to reduce the size of the DXA files used by Broken Sword 1 & 2? I thought maybe I'd try encoding the SMK to DXA files myself, but I don't know if the only thing I could reduce size wise is the accompanying audio files. Is there a parameter in th...

The Dreamcast needs self-boot discs to be burned in a 2 session format, separate issue from the ScummVM game that's on the disc. Either in (audio/data) track 1 audio dummy and track 2 iso containing the scummvm binary and game files, or a (data/data) track 1 data dummy and track 2 iso format. I also...

(DC) I Have No Mouth, And Must Scream - Burn Problem
I recently attempted to build a single self-boot disc of IHNM for the Dreamcast. I burned as a 2 session disc, first session was audio, while the second was the required games files. I ended up wasting several cd-rs, so I have some questions. I used the latest 0.13.0 plainfiles, and I also used the ...

A question about Libronin and the sound in DC Scummvm.
This is mostly aimed at Marcus C., and/or any other involved party on the Dreamcast port. I was wondering why the DC port still used the rather antiquated Libronin, as opposed to something like KOS, which is still seeing updates and programming usage? I also have a question about a post by another m...

Dreamcast Audio Question
I never understood why the DC didn't support other types of audio compression. I know that a few DC apps use "ogg" for instance.
Is there any reason that ogg or flac compression of "sou" files isn't possible?

I'm sorry, I wasn't clear enough. What I tried to say is that I want to compile the Dreamcast ScummVM in Windows. The Dreamcast compile instructions are only given for Linux, and I need a way to compile them in a Windows environment. Like maybe using Cygwin, but I don't know how to set up the...
