Hello glidem, Don't please anyone misunderstand my post. As I've said ScummVM is GREAT - one heck of a tool!! with lots of features/improvements. I do use ScummVM for my other less XP compliant games - Monkey 1/2 etc. And Loom (runs in ScummVM straight from the disc). But faced with mucking about w...

I agree with sev, Although the may be able to run some games through Windows XP, ScummVM offers many more options and stability. Simple fact of the matter is, if ScummVM can run the game in question, I use ScummVM and don't even try to let Windows XP run it as it has proven to me time and time again...

For LCD displays, having a 4x scaler would be great, going full screen causes the image to lose quality.

eriktorbjorn is correct.

It is a bad idea to compress an already compressed format, as any loss in quality that results from compression is amplified when compressing again.

Always compress from the source.

OGG is the format I use as it is small and superior to that of MP3.

The guys that work on ScummVM have done a fantastic job and I am sure people, even myself will find games that we wish would run on ScummVM. I also would love to see TOUCHE' The Adventures of the Fifth Musketeer and Discworld working as they are both classic games, I am sure eventually we will see b...
