So you're saying that even though all these games look like each other, it would be impossible to make a ScummVM/FreeSCI/Frotz/etc-style interpreter that would work with unmodified copies of these games?

Legend Entertainment's Games

I figured this might have been asked many, many times before, but a search for "Legend" only turns up 20 hits here, and most of those are about Legend of Kyrandia. So... Has anyone looked into the legal status or source code availability of Legend's numerous adventure games? I'm speaking of the like...

Sure, I remember that game. It had some truly superior dialog; whoever did the localization for the English version was really talented. It's a pity that apparently the only version with voice acting is in Polish. Plus the excellent dialog doesn't quite make up for some really insipid pixel hunts. I...

So, did anyone here play RTX Red Rock after reading the scathing reviews?

Oh. Indeed they are.

I profess my admiration for the team's alacrity. 8)

Well, they're clearly not listed in http://www.scummvm.org/documentation.php?view=md5 . Should I submit these in a bug report?

I too am using the one with the special edition of Dark Forces. You'll have to browse to the Resource directory before selecting Choose; if you just stop in the root directory of the CD, it won't work.

What I was wondering about was why it stayed in my inventory as a completely useless item when all the other weapons were removed.

Full Throttle Question (Bug?)

Well, I finally got around to giving Full Throttle a whirl. Really doesn't last very long, does it? Great fun, though, at least until the stupidity in the final sequence. Anyway, during the dueling stage I ended up using a chain so much that it disappeared. This much was supposed to happen; Ben even...

Can't Get Daily Build Downloads

My apologies if this issue has already been addressed; I could not find something appropriate with the Search function. I found a bug or two, and was about to download the daily snapshot to test them again, but http://www.scummvm.org/daily/rpm/ and http://www.scummvm.org/daily/debian/ are both dead ...

There were whispers once that the dev team was trying to reissue the game somehow (Google for "Neverhood 2000"), but apparently they were unable to secure funding.

And to think these guys were backed by Dreamworks once. Go figure.

Ok, for LOOM I get

LOOMTM 1.2 French (0) 26.06.90

and for Indy3 it's

Version PC 1.3 8/25/89

Is this unusual?

More New MD5 Sums

I also did not see an appropriate thread for these, but I hope this is the right place. I have purchased a French copy of Loom (DOS EGA floppy version) published by Ubi Soft as part of their Lucasarts Collection. Apparently these were produced on a very low budget - it seems that Ubi Soft used the e...
