Indeed. :?

I've asked before if anyone's had success in purchasing I Have No Mouth and I Must Scream from the Harlan Ellison Store, but I never got a response.

You can actually buy The Dig brand-new direct from Amazon.co.uk. It seems it was re-released over there.

Someone also mentioned that Full Throttle is available as a download from MOD: REMOVED.

In theory, the achievement of each point would be marked in a save file somewhere (to prevent you from collecting a particular point more than once). So, supposedly, you could make a program that would analyze the save file and tell you exactly what you missed, right?

I get the impression that Lucasarts does not stop publishers of foreign versions of its older games from rereleasing them. Ubi Soft published the French versions, and I've seen them do several different rereleases of some of the old Lucasarts games. (The last one came out a while ago, though, so the...

The Order links on the game's home page don't even seem to work anymore. Is it legally available at all?

I've heard that this tends to happen on nVidia cards if DoubleScan is enabled.

DoubleScan can be disabled by right clicking the desktop > Properties > Advanced > Display Mode Timing > Uncheck 'Enable Doublescan for lower resolutions'.

I thought the Smacker-compressed video in Toonstruck was still a major obstacle. Or was that a different game?

(And, um, what's an IDA license?)

And if you're wondering what happened to "Tierra"; they're not dead; they just changed their name.

I started a thread about Legend's games here . I tried contacting some of the people involved, and source code is not forthcoming. :( (What's worse is that due to the nature of the licensing, it seems that no one could legally publish it again even if they wanted to.) Anyway, the game works perfectl...

I notice that the wiki now has a date of August 31 in regards to the last update.

I guess there's no developer's office somewhere on whose door we might knock and volunteer our services to locate the code? :)

Ubi Soft published most of the French versions of the Lucasarts games.

Not sure about the other ones, but I should definitely be able to purchase a nice sealed copy of French Full Throttle for you, for the right price (and shipping from Canada). PM me.

Indeed, I would much like to add REing of executables to my, er, "repertoire". Haven't found a good way to start yet, though. I did find the considerable amount of documentation available for translating/hacking console ROMs to be thoroughly educational, though. A fine start if you want to begin lea...
