(From what I understand, though I could be wrong, the Runaway games use a mixure of 2D and 3D graphics which would be far more technically advanced than anything ScummVM does.) The 3D looks pre-rendered to me so that would just mean a whole lot of 2D image resources to achieve that smooth animation...

Damn, yet another oldie from my collection brought back to life! Maybe I'll get to actually playing it this time around. Just to make sure, there aren't subtitles for example for the opening cutscene, are there? The dialogue seems to get a little mumbly at times. (Or maybe I was just too tired to co...

Sounds like the game icon you're supposed to place in Applications folder is in fact an OS X .app bundle. You should be able to right-click it and select "Show Contents" to see what's inside. I'm thinking this distribution of the game already uses a version of ScummVM so don't be surprised if you se...

Re: secret of monkey island cd version symbian
Do you know it to work otherwise on other platforms? I'm not sure but it sounds kinda natural for a CD game to behave like this. Or to just always start the audio track from the beginning.

Yeah, I don't think it works that way.Blooglspash wrote:On the Downloads page, have the missing files (and ONLY the missing files, so it wouldn't count as piracy)

I was unable to find the sci_undither code in my INI file. But nothing's preventing you from putting the setting there. For example, if you want to disable the undithering globally, put sci_undither=false in the [scummvm] section, that's below that line but above any other bracketed lines (=game sp...

Re: ScummVM 1.2.0 "FaSCInating release" is here!
Early SCI 16-color games can be optionally undithered by ScummVM, making them look much better. Well, that's subjective. I wish you guys would have disabled it by default or at least made the undither option a little more accessible than going into the console all the time. You don't have to go to ...
