Also, the CD isn't bitchy about what codes you enter in the copy protection check at startup. Or is it just the ScummVM effect and I've long since forgotten what it was like going all native?

The breakout in BS1 installer is probably the most challenging one of all time because it's so jerky. It's a good thing you can't run out of lives. Especially if Game Over meant aborting the installation. ;)

Yes, unattended game completion is a must for v10 with the options of directing all audio and video output to dev/null or alternatively watching the feed of ScummVM's/the game's internal messages. That way you could finish several adventures during a day at home over ssh at the same time you're work...
