i haven't tried it myself, but i've been told that the best thing to do with a scratched cd is to take it to your local blockbuster video (or possible equivalent) and ask them nicely to run it through their disc grinder (wears the surface down to give a new smooth surface).

there isn't anything resembling a studio for actual scumm games. the only available software that can make scumm games is scummc , which is a bunch of seperate tools that aren't massively user-friendly as yet. there are other studio-type packages available for making scumm-like games, but not for ac...

i think it's supposed to work, i thought i'd downloaded it from gog but it turns out i actually got it from the scummvm downloads page, which definitely works. i also downloaded the comic etc from gog.
